This Little Light of Mine

In Jesus’ time, they didn’t have electricity, so torches or candles were used to see in the dark. If someone holding a candle walked too quickly, the light would go out. It was important to realize that whatever journey they went on had to be taken one step at a time in order to keep that light close. Christ is this light in OUR lives. Regardless of what stage of life you are in, He is with us each step of the way. Patience and perseverance in keeping that light near us are important ways to grow!
