Lauren Corbat is both the High School Youth Minister, and the Young Adult Ministry Leader at St. Malachy! She has been coming to St. Malachy since childhood and joined the youth ministry as a teenager. Through the youth ministry, she met her husband and they were married in 2016. Her favorite part of working with the teens is showing them that Mass and fellowship in the church is their direct connection to Jesus and each other. She believes attending youth group as a teen was a direct gateway to where she is now and she wants to create that same experience for the teens today to help them form a foundation of faith for a lifetime. Outside of working for St. Malachy, Lauren runs her own freelance creative business that specializes in photography, writing and design for the outdoor industry. She also works at a rock climbing gym. Her favorite places to climb are Red Rocks in Nevada, the New River Gorge in West Virginia, and the Pictured Rocks for ice climbing in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
