Jessica Zelinski is a graduate of Michigan State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in music performance. She performs professionally on both piano and viola and she maintains a studio of private piano students. As a pianist she accompanies school choirs, student recitals and solo performances, and is a substitute musician at local churches. As a violist she performs with the Midland Symphony Orchestra, the Macomb Symphony Orchestra, Rondo String Quartet, and sometimes the Oakland Symphony Orchestra and others. Her husband, Bryan Pokorney, is also a professional musician and plays the bass trombone. They have two children, Miriya and Zach, and 2 cats. Jessica is excited to be a part of the music program at St. Malachy and she is very happy to be here!
