We know looking for a church can come with a lot of questions, so we put together the answers to some of our most common ones to help you get to know us!

The mission of St. Malachy is to welcome all who enter with love and compassion, encourage others to be part of the family that gathers, and bring the next generation back to the Catholic Church!

Confession is held each Saturday at 3pm until all are heard.

St. Malachy offers many ministries and groups to get involved in! To learn more about how to join these groups, visit the “Get Involved” tab on the homepage of our website and explore the many different options!

In order to make a Holy Sacrament at St. Malachy, contact Faith Formation at ffs@stmalachychurch.org to schedule and ask any questions!

  • Baptisms for infants and children under the age of six are available on Sundays once a month after the 11:30 am Mass. Parents must watch a short video to gain a better understanding of the Sacrament. Please contact the office at x1100 for scheduling and any questions. 
  • For baptisms of children Grades 1st-8th, please contact our Faith Formation Office via email at ffs@stmalachychurch.org.
  • For baptisms of those in 9th-12th grades or for adults, please refer to RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) on our Becoming Catholic Page!
  • Children making the Sacrament of First Communion and Confirmation are in close conjunction with Faith Formation. Confirmation preparation begins in 6th grade. Adults are encouraged to visit the Becoming Catholic Page!

*Please refer to the Sacraments page for more information on Holy Matrimony, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and a deeper explanation of the Sacraments.

Funerals and anointings are to be scheduled and planned through the Parish Office. Please email contact@stmalachychurch.org for more information, or call the office at 586-264-1220.

St. Malachy offers a variety of groups, including Men’s Club, Women’s Club, Prayer Ministry, Hospitality, Evangelization, Security Team, Music Ministry, Tech Ministry, and many more! Visit the Get Involved page for more information on how to join these programs!
