Protecting God’s Children Workshop @ St. Ronald

ATTENTION adult volunteers (18+) who have regular and/or unsupervised contact with minors: Did you know you are required to attend a Protecting God’s Children Workshop?

The Protecting God’s Children Workshop is required for ALL staff and volunteers who come in contact with children at all parishes and schools in the Archdiocese of Detroit. 

If you did not complete the class in 2023, you must do so as soon as possible!

The program is a 3-hour awareness session for adults in the faith community who interact with minors to protect children from sexual abuse. 

Participants are taught to identify situations that could leave a child vulnerable, the methods of sexual offenders, and the critical steps to help prevent abuse.

•     Click First-Time Registrant on the left-hand side and click on the Protecting God’s Children link on the right side of the page. 
•     Select Begin the Registration Process
•       Select Detroit, MI (Archdiocese) from the drop-down list.  
•       Continue your registration process

The next FREE in-person class will be held at St. Ronald Parish (Clinton Township) on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024, at 10am. Please contact Nicole Tomaszycki at (586) 792-1190 to register. Light refreshments will be served!
