The summer festival is only a few short weeks away and we need your help!
Our Theme Basket Committee has been busy putting together some great baskets and could use more items to make even more baskets. If you would like to put your own basket together, they would appreciate that too!
Here are some ideas of what you can put together:
(A few places to shop are 5 Below, Dollar Tree, Ollies, Christmas Tree Shop, etc.
- Relaxation Basket – facial masks, hydrating socks or gloves, bath salts, relaxing lotion, nice aroma candle, (anything else for an evening of pampering/relaxation)
- Basket of Michigan-made products
- Basket to start off our students heading off to college
- Basket of supplies for the first-time home buyers
- Summertime Basket – beach theme, Margarita, picnic, etc.
- Baking Basket – anything for baking (dishes, box mixes, hot pads, etc.)
- Basket with breakfast ideas/lunch ideas/dinner ideas
- Any Nationality Basket – Polish, Italian, German, Irish, etc.
- Any Sports – Tigers, Lions, Red Wings, Pistons, etc.
- Any College – U of M, MSU, Central, Wayne State, Oakland University, etc.
- Zoo Membership
- Picking up a gift card from any restaurant to combine with a basket
- Breakfast/Dinner Board
- Picking up Lottery Tickets – we have displayed them with an umbrella – “Showering of Money”
- Golf Package
- Movie/Theater Basket
- Backyard Fire Basket – making for s’mores, roasting forks, etc.
- Home Improvement –ranging from paint supplies, basic tools, gardening supplies gift cards to Lowes, Home Depot, Menards, etc.
- Fishing Basket
- Craft Basket – crocheting, knitting,kids crafts, etc.
- Date Night Ideas
- Basket for a New Baby
If you have any baskets (medium to large sizes) that you may be looking to get rid of, we could use them!
