A HUGE St. Malachy welcome to our newest member, Eric Taylor!
Eric is our new music director here at St. Malachy! Having earned a bachelor’s degree in music for Vocal Music Education and a master’s in Choral Conducting from Wayne State University, he has years of experience teaching at all age levels, including a semester at Sacred Heart Major Seminary!
As a baptized and confirmed Catholic, Eric has always felt called to serve the Church in various ways, such as lectoring, altar-serving, and singing in the church choir at school. Outside of music, Eric enjoys watching game shows such as Jeopardy, The Chase, and Wheel of Fortune, and has even appeared on an episode of “You Bet Your Life” with Jay Leno! He likes playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with his friends, family, and dog in his free time.
By joining the Family of Faith at St. Malachy, Eric hopes to deepen his own spiritual growth and connection to the Church while also enriching the faith lives of others. WELCOME, ERIC!😁
