We need your help in the cleaning of the Blessed Mother Shrine on a weekly basis.
This is a one-week commitment beginning Sunday afternoon and ending Saturday. You would have the opportunity to pick a week when we do the scheduling.
Responsibilities include:
*A daily responsibility to replace the used tea-lights in the small colored glass containers and to make sure there are long sticks in the sand container in order to light the candles. (These are both provided by the parish)
*Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, you would change out the small colored glass containers. (Clean ones are in the candle/storage room off the Gathering Space) You would take them home, wash them, and return them for the following week. The shelves are to be dusted as well. Depending on the church calendar you would change the color of the glasses, but this would be communicated on the calendar posted in the candle room.
*During the week we ask that the Shrine is swept and the Blessed Mother be dusted.
The frequency of volunteering will depend upon the number of volunteers. Currently our schedule is once every two months.
