The Tree of Life is up for the Lenten Season!
Please take a tag or two to help those who are in need. A list of charities that we will be serving can be found below:
St. Aloysius- Has teamed up with Central High School in Detroit to serve the children that have been
identified as food insecure and/or homeless. Gift cards requested to this organization will be used to purchase perishable items.
Most Holy Trinity- Serves the homeless and low-income families in Detroit.
Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan:Project Hope –Project Hope helps mothers in need to help
with caring for their infants.
Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan – A center for serving the needs of the community of Southeast
Michigan.
Pope Francis Center – Serves the homeless in Detroit and the Metro Detroit area.
St.Malachy – For the people of our community who come to our door requesting money for food, gas, or to help with utility bills.(We kindly request the cards be in smaller denominations of no more than $25.)
Sanctum House – Provides services and shelter to the victims of Human Trafficking
St. Pio Baby Closet – Helps mothers in need to help with caring for their infants and children in the Detroit and Metro Detroit areas. Gift cards donated to this organization will be used to help with shelving needed to hold the many donated items they receive.
Donations should be returned by the weekend of March 18th and 19th. Thank you!!!
